Tuna Sandwich for Dinner

Tuna sandwich is what is on the dinner menu for this evening. Something light and I love tuna salad sandwiches. I mix mayo and pickle relish with the tuna. I usually toast the bread. Sometimes I add a little lettuce. And a few chips on the side. There are many ways to fix tuna salad. You can add mustard, onions, peppers. But I prefer mine more plain. Some will have it on crackers instead of bread. I prefer bread. Not my photo by the way. What about you? Do you like tuna sandwiches? What is on your dinner menu?

I like them but I haven't had one in decades, I don't eat bread very often and am sensitive to mayo, I do miss tuna salad though.

Yes I could but it gets really messy as theres nothing to hold the tuna in place

I like my tuna sarnie with nearly half of it in finely chopped red onions, all held together with mayo. Tasty!

@CarolDM To me tuna is good anytime. I had tuna last week with my Shabbat meal. I actually put vegetables in mine and eat it like that.

@CarolDM Not for cats though. I get tuna in water but if I wanted to give it to my cat I would still have to make sure get all what she cannot eat out.

I like a good tuna sandwich. I do mayo, add a little paprika, some hard boil eggs if I have eggs and that’s my bread and then put mayo on both sides.

I just love tuna salad, I actually prefer it on a thin roll with a bit of shredded cheese on it and heated. Tonight we had comfort food for supper. I did up some ground beef sliders, leftover mushroom gravy and homemade French fries with some niblet corn on the side. It was a delicious supper.

I love tuna sandwiches....and even just tuna from a bowl (mixed with my favorite ingredients which would probably gross people out). Sounds good though! Tonight I made a low carb chicken cordon bleu casserole!

I'm heading to the store in the morning for fresh bread to make tuna sandwiches for lunch. I was telling my daughter just a few minutes ago I want to make up tuna for tomorrow. I toss in pickle and either shallots or purple onion.

We love tuna sandwiches. I only put celery and mayonnaise in ours with a bit of fresh ground pepper. I usually serve it on multigrain bread, bagels, or plopped on a salad. We ate dinner in NYC tonight!
