I ordered some new bottoms this afternoon

My pants, sweatpants, and shorts are entirely too big for me. I've been wearing size 16 and 18 for the past several months. I've lost more weight, though, and even the 16s are too big on me now. Today I wore a pair of size 18 khakis to work and I was able to pull my pants down to use the bathroom without even unbuttoning them. That was absurd. I wanted to hold off on buying new pants until I lost more weight but it became very clear to me today that I can no longer wait. I decided to order 2 pairs of khakis and a pair of shorts in size 14. I ordered a pair of sweatpants in XL. I'm pretty pleased with those sizes since at one point in time I was up to size 22 and 2XL in Women's Plus. I ordered through Swagbucks so I will earn some SB that will eventually be used for an Amazon gift card. I also got $40 in Old Navy bonus bucks but I doubt I will use them. I don't want to buy too much in this size as I plan to continue losing weight and getting smaller. I will give all of my size 18 pants and shorts to my sister to sell on Poshmark for me. That's the only reason I don't feel too guilty about buying new clothes. . . at least I can sell the ones that are too big instead of throwing them out.

Have you ever thought of checking out the thrift stores? You can find some amazing deals. Either way, congrats on the weight loss.

@NJChicaa You can find some amazing deals. My wife and I actually like to find ones around more affluent neighborhoods. Better stuff and great prices. I have never paid more than $4 for a pair of jeans for example.

My sister does really well with it. I've earned almost $200 selling stuff that I would have thrown away.

@NJChicaa Do you know if people sell children's clothing on there too? Or just for adults?

It is a mixed feeling. Happy to get smaller but not happy to have to spend the $$ on new clothes
