My Surgery Was A Success

Or thinking at least it was. Only time will completely tell, but I have noticed some of the swelling is down and I can get my shoes on easier. Still hurts to walk much but that is to be expected. Tried to walk some today like they were saying I could try if I was up to it, and had to stop after not that far. There is always tomorrow
They had to put stents in my arteries to help since I have no Blood flow at all that was really going down into my legs as to why I was having some of the issues. No Blood flow is PAD (Perifial Arterial Disease)b and was making it quite difficult to walk. I have my first follow up apt on the 25th and will see how things are going, and go from there.
Still in a little bit of pain and wear out faster. If I can't really walk tomorrow I will not be able to make it to church. But hoping this too shall pass and Great things will come

Thanks... I need to do another update as I am getting ready to have more Surgery done this Friday to probably put stents in the Veins to help the blood flow. Really tied of being in pain all the time

You will get better and better! Tony had a stent in his side and 3 in his heart back in 2013.

They are getting ready to put stents in the veins of my legs to help the Blood flow and my leg heal this coming Friday and hoping for the Best

It has been interesting. The humidity though has not been helping. Now getting ready to go in and have them do surgery on the veins on Friday and hoping for the Best

@KrauseHome Humidity never helps, unless it curls your hair and you want it curled.

Yes this one was able to help with some issues. I am getting ready to have another Surgery on Friday where they are going to be working on the veins in my legs

I have my good days and my Bad days. Still not able to do much later in the evening as I start hurting too much.

Glad your surgery has gone well. Do not force yourself to go to church. It will still be there next week and if you really need to give thanks you can do it at home!

So true... and it has been one day at a time since this. I am having another surgery tomorrow and will see how I feel, and then go from there.

@KrauseHome Let's hope for the best..sent you a Bible verse in Facebook, that we can think of if we are sick - this will happen when the paradise is here on earth - very soon. Isaiah 33:24 "...no resident will say: “I am sick."” See also Isaiah chapter 11 - You will find an online Bible at

That is what is starting to bug me is that I hurt too bad most of the time to want to go do anything. Especially later in the evening. As I get ready to have another Surgery tomorrow, I am a little nervous especially since I know some of the pain to endure while going thru it, and really hoping that this one will work/

Yes they were able to help things there. Tomorrow morning they are going to be doing the Veins so all we can do is go from there and continue to hope for the Best

Yes it's been a challenge. I have noticed some difference and getting Surgery tomorrow to help the Veins. So wanting to have more of a life again
