Last Minute Decisions

It is Father's Day.
I have commitments to be at church here. Afterwards, we shall head to Oklahoma for the evening. We will come back tomorrow.
I will not even take my laptop. I am going to visit.
I am feeling stressed because I have not seen my dad in a while, or my brother and his wife.
So, I am not ignoring you, or neglecting you. This month is just going to be that way. Family visits and vacations. I will take my laptop on the long trip.
I will see everyone either Monday night, or Tuesday.
In case anyone is missing my regular posts, the weather:we had a thunderstorm last night; the wildlife: we saw deer when we took a drive yesterday, and the wrens are very happy in their birdhouse; food: we had steak, potatoes, and cooked greens last night, and oatmeal this morning.
I responded to suggestions here.
It is nearly time for church.

It was nice. They are all looking good. Dad has been getting Physical Therapy at home, but his knee hurts a lot.

save travels'n 'njoy the time spent with the family, hon. that'd be what 'tis truly 'mportant. hope yer storm 'twas kind, parts 'f texas 'd 2" sized hail'n a twister (o'er farmland, i believe?). been some time since i've seen deer 'round these parts. do see antelope from time to time'n the eve if'n i'm out. yeah, wrens! good grub :)

I only see antelope in zoos. I think there is a ranch that raises them for captive shooting near here
We are not having rain or tornadoes. Oklahoma had some cold air spouts or something. Not dangerous but twirly looking.

It was a good short visit. We usually try to go one time a month but have not been while Bob was sick and after my brother had back surgery.
