What's going on the dinner table tonight? I want to know!
I'm having a pork chop seasoned with Emeril's Essence dry rub. To go with it I'm having a baked sweet potato and leftover roasted carrots and parsnips. Nothing fancy tonight.

We're having a very unexciting dinner of leftovers. I'm not even sure which ones yet. Whee!

@NJChicaa Sort of. There's always someone who will complain about having leftovers, that it's not a "real dinner". And yet, things get eaten!

That sounds good. I am thinking potato, corn and steak on the grill That will not take long to cook and will not heat up the house.
