If I Was To Tell You To Sit Down and Draw a Cricket... Could you do it??

That is exactly what my daughter told me to do a few days ago... She gives me suggestions every time I pick up my art book... I had to think hard about what they look like, but it was more fun than I thought it would be!! No, it didn't look much like a cricket, but it did look like a bug lol...
I am a little behind with my doodling, so I guess I had better come up with something before she does!! Who honestly could draw a cricket from memory anyway??

don't see many crickets these days, but 've grasshoppers'n that'd be close 'nough, lol. i could draw one, but nobody'd know what such'd be ~ all my stick figures purty much look 'like

Nope. I write illustrations. I draw stick figures. I love that you have such dialogue with your daughter.

Unless they have a photographic memory. When I draw something, I have the model or a picture of what I am going to draw.
