Tomorrow we will go on a bus trip to a city, Aveiro, near the sea, as we will do a picnic we are cooking something to eat there. My children love these potatoes (in the picture) with eggs and parsley so these always go with us for picnics. I usually prefer to go only with my family in our own car but this time me and my husband decided to go too. The trip is free for everyone. Do you use to go on bus trips?

The last time I went on a bus trip it was to go to New York to see the Pope. I am not of fan of bus travel. However, if your potatoes are on the bus, I might have to go lol

I am not a fan of bus trips as well but as my husband and my kids wanted to go... These are typical portuguese potatoes

I prefer to go with a car, but the bus is fine. How do you make those potatoes? They look great.

I also prefer go in my car. Boiled the potatoes first then cut them in slices. Mix the eggs with parsley and garlic (sometimes I also add onion) put the potatoes in this and then go to fry. Don't know if I was clear in my explanation.

oh my, those look jest divine! don't blame those young'uns fer bein' so fond 'f such. wonderful y'all 're gettin' 'way. hope ya find lots 'f eye candy :) no buses here 'nless ya plan'n takin' a greyhound. not a pleasant ride (from past 'xperience), hopefully y'all's 'll be better.

@nela13 Those beach houses are so quaint and beautiful! Being by the beach is my favorite thing. I’m sure you all had a fun time on the bus. Hopefully, you can return soon.

The place is beautiful and very near there is a beach that I love, you can see the houses in that beach in the picture. I always prefer traveling by car instead of bus but this time we had a good time.

The only time I have ever taken a bus trip was when I was in school, and we would take charter buses to long-distance field trips. Other than that, I haven't traveled by bus.

@nela13 Shoestring potatoes are a snack that usually comes in a can. They are thin strips of potato like potato chips only strips that look like French fries, only thinner.

. That looks like some tasty food. I had just started getting back into cooking my own food I used to eat a lot of TV dinners xcetera I often have a lot of things that I have to do I've been a successful artist, now I have to go the extra mile and cook my own meals time to time. So you're just going on a picnic? Or are you taking road trips for a vacation? I don't often go vacations and I don't often take busses on vacations. Try to go on vacations as often as I can.
