Lazy day #2 - Charlie

And this tired little thing is Charlie. He was laying in front of the heater and as I started scratching his belly, his eyes were closing. So cute!
Technically he is my brother's dog. But easier to just say he is mine since I pretty much take care of him. Much better care of him than my brother does. I will vent about that another day but for now I will just say, my brother needs to get his priorities straight! 
Today was a pretty lazy day. Tomorrow when my dad goes back to work I want to spend the day doing some house chores and some other things to help out. My dad isn't exactly thrilled about going back to work. He is doing this more of a favour for his boss since they were really good at holding his job this whole time. But the truth is before all this drama happened with his foot, he was wanting to find a new job so I am going to try hard to do whatever I can to at least make the household less stressful.
Hope everyone is doing good today / tonight.

That is great that your dad is going back to work. How does he feel about it? I know you and your dad take really good care of Charlie. He looks very relaxed. You answered how he feels. Is he well enough to go back? That is too bad the toe got in the way of him finding something else.

@Hannihar My dad isn't too thrilled but so far things have been going well for him. He is just relaxing in bed right now watching TV. He is well to go back. His surgeon told him he can go back to how life was before. Well in regards to driving and work. He still has to maintain a good diet and keep up with insulin etc.

@rebelann Thank you. Me too. This job now was really stressing him out and making him exhausted. But I know this time around he will be given less to do which is good for now.

@LadyDuck haha yeah it is Winter here. Has been a nice cold and rainy day today. Apparently some bad storm is meant to hit us but lol I don't take much notice of what the weather people say.

Good for you Danielle! I believe your dad will be very pleased and proud of you!! We have four dogs in our house. They're very naughty but we love them like children!!
