I Have Spurs That Jingle, Jangle, Jingle...

Since I have been ordered to spend most of my time resting I seem to be watching a lot of TV. I have found that it is so hard to find something good to watch unless it is one of the older shows.
Anyway for some reason I seem to have started watching a number of old cowboy shows such as The Virginian, Gunsmoke, and Rifleman. I have found myself engrossed in their stories.
One of the things I have noticed is … a lot of them wear spurs. While I don't find that unusual, I find myself questioning why they don't take them off while they are trying to sneak up on someone.
I mean, the jingle, jangle of the spurs would surely alert the person they are trying to catch.
It does make one wonder, doesn't it?
Have you ever noticed?

Hope you are feeling better. Spurs are a cowboy thing; and I think they leave them on in the movies so that you can hear that jingle, jangle, jingle as they walk.
