Will you still drink coffee if you don't feel well?

I often drink a cup of coffee everday. But since Sunday I didn't feel well. I had a fever and sore throat and then I didn't drink coffee since that. Today it is Wednesday and I still have the sore throat. I don't drink coffee yet. As I am afraid it will make me feel worse.

I drink coffee when I have sore throat because it is not the cause of sore throat and coffee does not worsen the situation.

Good thing I am not a coffee drinker myself. I can drink coffee occasionally but I never have a craving for it. If there is and I feel like it then I do but when it is not available it is fine with me.

I do not drink coffee or tea at all. Drink some orange juice when you do not feel well.

If it is something like fever and sore throat, usually we don't think coffee is suitable.

I drink coffee black . . . or I might add some almond milk to it. I don't add any dairy milk/cream or sugar to it . . . and that is what I am told we should stay away from anyway especially when we have a fever or sore throat. I think my black coffee helps when I am congested (I think it's a natural antihistamine) but I make sure to have it only in the morning so I can get good sleep/rest at night.

I don't drink black coffee as it is bitter for me. I don't like bitter flavor. But I know it is better than adding sugar and milk to the coffee.

I don drink coffee at all - hate the taste. My mom on the other hand drinks multiple cups a day. She has an intestinal disease and coffee is not good for her but she drinks it anyway. And she wonders why she often does not feel well.

Yes, the only thing that stops me from drinking my morning coffee is if I am feeling nauseous. You should get your sore throat checked out. Hope it gets better soon.
