This is a first for me. Someone on here on mylot asked me to send them money to help them out. I understand what it’s like to be broke and have no money and have bills to pay but this is one thing I can’t not do. I don’t send people I don’t know money. I have a hard time sending people I do know money. I do give to those in need when I can.
Don’t think the money I’ve earned that goes into my PayPal is something you can ask me to send to you because your in need. Um... no that’s a big fat NO!!!! I put a lot of time and effort into what I do earn and put into my PayPal that money goes for things that my family of 5 needs.

I have helped a fellow myLotter a few bucks. And she messages me occasionally and I just ignore her because she just asks for money.

@ShyBear88 She had a story but I don't know. I felt bad she needed a few $ to cash out PayPal or something. But nope, no more being nice to her. I don't even talk to her!

I probably still wouldn’t give to them since I don’t know them.

I totally agree with you. And it is against the guidelines of the site. Each one should work to earn. I would not give my hard earned money to someone I do not know. Internet is full of such scams.

That's the first time I have heard of such a thing. Not an appropriate thing for this site.

Money earned here are hard earned ones. How can they have the nerve to ask for that?

People shouldn't be begging for money from other users here. Seeing as the site itself allows people to earn, there's no excuse for people to be panhandling.

as owlwings has said, it's against the rules. here's what it says:
"myLot Community Guidelines
However, here is a list of behavior that is never tolerated.
Requesting donations, posting charity requests or petitions."
reference:
This is where you will find out what kinds of behavior are accepted and unaccepted on myLot. When in doubt, remember the Golden Rule!

I have never been asked from anyone here. On Facebook, but never. I would not just send anyone money anyway.

Yes on Facebook I see it often one of the groups I’m in as lots of struggling single moms but they have to prove to admins they are really in need. They dig deep to make sure they are not lying. So some times if I can I send $1-$5 if I can or even offer a gift card I’ve earned.

wow, but not really a surprise. I see that this is something against the rules, as it should be. Any who might be tempted to send me such a request, don't bother.
