Cereals are over rated.

Cereals commomly known as the easiest breakfast ever. In my opinion cereals are over rated. Simply because i dont agree to its serving size. Then again no one ever does. Besides its serving size I Do Not remember a single day where my tummy got satisfied with just cereals and juice in the morning. Now i know this raise arguments with a lot of people who are used to having cereals as the first thing they eat in the morning, and i have nothing against that. But in my opinion bread and butter if not rice and eggs would be best served as breakfast.
Do cereals satisfy you? Im aware of its nutriens, but do they really satisfy you? What do you usually have for breakfast?

I am never really hungry in the morning so a bowl of shredded wheat cereal is good enough.

I am not a cereal person. They come handy only on days I am on rush or feel like having a light breakfast. Breakfast is my most important meal and I need something really filling.

I'm so gonna get angry over cereals! Lol..just kidding.
I agree with you a 100%. Cereals are just so boring, and that's why it is a recommended dish for breakfast because it's a more healthier option than peanut butter and bread. I love half boiled eggs for breakfast as well as a bread toast or two. Simple yet true.

I do agree with you. I think they are over rated. The ones that taste good are really unhealthy. The ones that are better for us are not very tasty. I occasionally have Weetabix for breakfast, and that satisfies me until lunch time most of the time. I have to cover them in milk and sweetener, though, because they're so dry and tasteless!
Cereals are convenient but there are lots of other things I'd prefer for breakfast. If I have the time and the means, I might have an English breakfast/fry-up - eggs, tomatoes, beans, sausage, bacon, mushrooms...
Most of the time, I do not have the time or the means for such a breakfast so I will have something quick. I enjoy fish on toast or cheese on toast. If I'm really in a rush, I might have a cereal bar (but that doesn't keep me full).

I like eating cereals in the morning but I have to eat again before lunch. Even if you eat a huge portion, it seems that it just digest slowly and you get hungry again after a few hours.

there are several factors
- some prefer a light breakfast
- some prefer something quick because they have limited time in the morning
- it also depends if the cereal is plain cornflakes versus muesli and rolled oats which are more substantial
- it also depends if you add nuts and fruits

I never stay satisfied, if I just have cereal and milk for breakfast. Along with this, I'd much rather have eggs or toast, something that holds my appetite over until lunch time!

In our house we normally have rice and eggs as break fast.
But sometimes I do cereals and yeah it does satisfy us:)
