I have always been fascinated by rooms that are smelling so nice and clean. It is so relaxing.
So I remembered I have stocks of lemongrass oil that I bought some months ago; put some in my clay aromatherapy crucible then put a little candle beneath to heat the oil. It gave off so nice scent. It filled the bedroom. So relaxing scent.
The only one who did not love it was Oreo, who kept hissing and sneezing due to the smell. I did not allow him to enter the bedroom, but the scent spread to the living room.
Do you also love to keep your room smelling so nice?

It is the same as the scented candles. I also use it when I do not have aromatherapy oil.

That's nice; it smells good and keeps mosquitoes away (lemongrass/citronella scent).

I do indeed, I have an essential oil burner and a wax burner and I use them both.

thankfully oreo 'tis a pup 'n not a cat. such can make a feline quite ill. many 'f the small breeds 'f pups though've very sensitive noses. i've lemongrass growin' here'n my porch'n 3 diff'rent pots. i like my house to smell nice, but cannot use essential oils'n such. gives the hubs'n i an instant headache.

@acelawrites seems cats cannot filter such through their livers?? so've very toxic to 'em (the concentrated oils). yes ma'am, i cook with 't sometimes. the hubs aint so fond 'f 't, but then he's ne'er wrapped his head 'round the fact that the herbs i grow here'd be the same he buys'n the store, lol.

I didn't know that cats are so affected by it. They have sensitive senses (dogs and cats). It is nice to know you are growing your own lemongrass. You can also use it for cooking.

@crazyhorseladycx you grow your own food; that's a very nice way of saving money.

I just bought one that was offered for sale. If not, I sometimes use natural leaves to get the scent.
