I forgot to mention in my review of June - that I got to see this legendary rock band recently. Every year in this area, one of the banks sponsor a huge free concert. It's all big name acts. I've seen Juice Newton, "America", "Starship", Bellamy Brothers, … as part of this concert series. This year, it was "Grand Funk Railroad". 2 of the members were original (the drummer and the bassist) and the rest - a keyboardist, a guitar player, and a vocalist - were non-original. @Ronrybs Wow, it's still all over the radio here - and most cover bands do it.... interesting. Makes me wonder what cool British rock I'm missing out on that doesn't get played here

And don't forget the song "Bad Time" one of my favorites which peaked at #4 on the record charts. Free music that sounds good to the ear is definitely a treat!
Grand Funk Railroad began as an underground favorite on FM radio in 1969 with the song "Paranoid." No one knew the top 40 hit maker the band would become sta...
