Happy Eclipse! Well, not anywhere in North America, instead our neighbors in South America - Parts of Argentine and Chile will get to enjoy it. Please, My Lot friends who can view it - let us know your thoughts. Have you ever seen a solar eclipse? I saw one in the 90s as a youngster. It was amazing. A dusk like shade feel. The animals, birds, insects - everything went still, even the weather - as if nature itself were responding to the moon shading the sun. There was another one in 2017 - though here it was cloudy . It's alright, I wasn't in the path of totality anyway. Have you ever seen a solar eclipse? Photo: Pixabay

The last time I saw it was when I was a kid.

@FayeHazel Yes, we are using like a film kind of thing to see it clearly.

I saw one in either the 80s or 90s. It was pretty cool to watch.

I wish I could see it, but yes, I've seen at least two or three that I can remember.

I have seen at least one and some partial eclipses. It is a strange feeling as you say. No wonder early man was found them strange and mystic.

Oh yes, very good point, I can see why the ancients thought so much of it

Didn't know this had happened today. Fairly sure our last eclipse was in 1999, no idea when the next one is

I have seen one before, wore the glasses, but lately the clouds have been in the way.
