Got three gifts for bridal shower and it only cost around $53

The bridal shower I am going to in July had a bridal/wedding registry at two stores. I gave myself a budget of about $50. Many items were on sale so I ended up getting three items and there was even a $10 OFF coupon available.
I was disappointed that I had to pay about $10 for shipping but nothing could be done. They did have free shipping option but I had to spend $75 to get that. Of course, it was cheaper to just pay $10 for shipping than to spend more money just to get free shipping.
With shipping and tax total came out around $53. That's great considering that I got three items and whose retail price was much higher than I actually paid. Without the sale total would have been way over $100, so I got a great deal.
And I got an email that the items have already shipped. That was fast considering I just placed the order today.

@LindaOHio I prefer stores because then I can try on the shoes and the clothing and if it doesn't fit me I don't buy it and no need to worry about returns. And even with items that don't need trying on, I get to look at them up close and see if I really like it and if they are not good I don't buy. Online purchases you have to pay for shipping and then if you don't like the stuff worry about returning.

@lovebuglena Yeah, they do have good sales. I love doing my shopping online. Hate going into stores anymore.

I think so too. I maybe could've gotten only two items or even one but I'd be spending too little money and it didn't feel right. However, items' original prices were not that cheap. I was just lucky there was a sale. So maybe I could have just gotten one or two things instead of three.

Yeah. I was anticipating getting only one thing and spending about that much. So, to be able to get three things and spend about that much money was great.

It said usually ships within 1-2 business days. I expected the shipment to go out maybe today. Was very surprised to have it shipped yesterday and pretty soon after I placed the order.

Yep. Glad I didn't wait to get the gifts. I'd have ended up spending more and maybe ended up with only high priced items left available.
