Happy Fourth of July

Happy Forth everyone! I was up very early this morning, had my coffee and breakfast and then laid back down. I just woke up and I'm still sleepy.
We are having crab and lobster salad and a pasta salad. For dessert, we are having a jello cake. I can't wait. So what are you eating today? Are you going anywhere?

I think at some time today we will visit with hubby's cousin. In a motel we cannot really plan a meal. Yesterday we spent all afternoon and evening with his classmates. If we go to the cousin's house we will have great food, I am sure. The wife used to do catering.

i'm comin' to yer place, so 'xpect a knock'n the door, k? no plans, nary a clue's to what i'll eat this eve. aint goin' nowhere 's i've sprinklers goin' 'long the perimeters 'f the place. ya know, so's if'n the idiot neighbors 'r others decide to shoot fireworks this eve? 'tis a tinder box out there, e'en the majority 'f the weeds 've gone dormant.
