I hope all of our California MyLotters are safe after this morning's 6.4 earthquake in Southern California. There were dozens of aftershocks. The epicenter, from what I read, was 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Did you feel the earthquake? Where are you located? Photo Credit: Pixabay

I heard about that and was rather shocked. I hope everyone is alright. I know some friends were posting on FB about where they were and what was happening.

I have a friend whose parents live in Los Angeles. She was visiting and said they felt it there very well. Scary.

That's one of the reasons why I wouldn't live there.

I have read that it happened in an area where there are no people living, but many felt the quake, even in Nevada.

It was a pretty big quake with some damage. I haven't heard anything about injuries or deaths yet. I hope not.

The news reports said that even people in Las Vegas could feel the shocks. One of my co-workers is in Vegas now, I'm waiting to hear back from her to see if she felt any of the shaking.

I heard this news today and I am glad that this earthquake doesn't bring more damages and wounds. That's so nice already.

Oh.. my God. We're in north side(Pleasanton). But, just few days before, my husband and I were discussing about this.

I wss watching the L.A. stations online cover the earthquake. I have friends (myLot and music) out there, and they've all reported in safe.

I saw the report on this quake on the Weather Channel website. I'm sure it was on the news, but I don't watch the news. From what I did read, the focus of the quake was less than 6 miles deep. It sounds like a lot but 6 miles relatively shallow for an earthquake.

I read about the earthquake on the MSN news site. Since I live in Louisiana, there was no tremors in my region. .
