Though it was Sunday yesterday and I had some time to be online, I could not do so. I was here for some time but then I had to log off.
My day yesterday after afternoon was bad. My elder daughter came from her basketball practice match in a bad fever. It was too high and she complained of body ache. My younger one gets fever often but for elder one it has not happened in long time. Yes she has got a few fractures and hurt on court in last couple of years.
Soon she started throwing up and it became frequent and she was totally dehydrated. We rushed her to doctor and it seems too much of throwing up caused her low BP and she was giddy. She was hospitalized and given medicine intravenously to stop her nausea. When she got a little stable we got her back to home late night. She could sleep a bit in night with all chill and fever. We have given blood and urine sample for test in morning and report should be here by 4 PM. Till then we are managing with medication.
She is on fluids and semi solid food. She is still feeling nauseating and has lost her appetite. We have kept fever in control through paracetamol.
She missed her first game of the tournament today and also her paper of Physics. She is not happy about it
I called the school and informed them. As for tournament, the next match is after ten days.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for the reports. Never seen my baby being so sick and weak. She is resting now and I thought to mylot to just distract myself from the worries.
I took two days off from my work to be with her.

@Starkinds She is responding to the general antibiotics. She is a little better. From yesterday she has been able to take a little of light food and so she should soon be getting back her strength. I am giving her a lot of fluids. That helps.

Blood report seem fine so far. Urine shows pus cells and so we have to wait for 48_72 hours for culture report to confirm or rule out UTI. We need to give one more blood sample on Wednesday for further tests. Have mailed the report to doctor. She will call in an hour. Keeping fingers crossed.

@LadyDuck Yes, I have started with it. 
Lots of fluid especially coconut water and cranberry juice. Doctor too advised the same. Thank you.

I am sorry to hear this dear, may it is a seasonal fever but I am worried as he has vomiting as well. Let us wait for the result. First let her be alright on health wise. She can give the test later. Wishing her a speedy recovery. No need to worry, she will be alright soon.

Blood report is fine. Urine shows pus cells and can be due to UTI. We have to wait for culture which comes in 72 hours. We have to give one blood sample on Wednesday to rule out dengue. I have mailed the reports to doc. Waiting for her call.

The urine report shows indication of UTI. We will get culture report by tomorrow evening and then we can start with specific antibiotics. Meanwhile lots of fluid, cranberry juice and general antibiotics had been started. She is responding slowly to it. But is quite weak.

@anil02 Culture shows no UTI and tests are negative for dengue and typhoid. So it is some high grade viral. She has got very weak.

@arunima25 I had a persistent UTI before as labs always wpuld show. So, the soctor had my urine cultured. And there was no growth of bacteria.
I guess i lacked water.
I hope it' nothing serious.

We just got report. Blood sample is fine but urine shows some pus cells indicating infection. I am waiting for doctors call. Has mailed her the report. We have to wait for urine culture which might take 48_72 hours to see if it's UTI.

She had shiver, chill and she didn't eat or drink much. She kept sleeping. So she got gastritis and low BP which were cause for her nausea.
