Hello Tuesday

Good Morning to all my friends here at MyLot. I am up early. I thought I would sleep in, but I must be somewhat caught up on my rest. It is amazing what a good night's sleep can do for you. My hubby is back to work today and another reason I was up earlier today.
I don't have many plans for today. I need to tidy up around the house and do some laundry. My main goal today is to take my mom to sign up for Medicaid today. This will mean a trip to Baton Rouge. I'm not sure if we will go by her house or not. I think we will let that slide today and let the cleaning out of POD and her carport process be a day all in itself. I'm sure this will be a week-long event.
I also need to get the Restore Louisiana people on the phone today.
Still no word from my brother. I think he may be getting a little worried.

Well, it was until we got this deadline to move all of mom's stuff out of the POD and rain through Monday or Tuesday. I am hoping we get it all done. We also have two days of doctor appointments next week so it will be super tiring. I'm sorry you forgot about your appointment. Can you reschedule?

@LindaOHio It wasn't too bad. We tried to get there right after lunch, was a little later than we wanted to be but they were not backed up much yet.

I think he is afraid of facing me. He has stolen from our mother and she has been staying with me for the past 40+ days. She knows what he did. I don't expect him to be running back, but then again, she is his only source of money. It's time to cut the gravy chain though and for him to learn how to take care of himself.

i don't reckon i've 'd a good nights slumber'n so long 't'd be quite the shock, lol. hope all went well with yer momma 'n gettin' her signed'p fer such. ugh'n that house schtuff :(
