Bringing A Rose Indoors

Roses are blooming in the garden. A great time to see all the blooms. I picked a few roses and brought them inside to enjoy them for a few days. They are meant to be enjoyed. On these hot summer days when I cannot stay out all day, it is nice to see some of the flowers inside. They make me smile and they smell nice too. Do you bring flowers inside during the summer? Reminds me of picking wildflowers for my Mom growing up. She would always place them in a vase in the middle of our table. Made me feel special.

One of the things I love about my new place is that there are flowers growing there. I love flowers and they do lighten up the house. I love your roses. They have brightened my sad day and I must thank-you for that.

So pretty! I like finding teeny flowers and putting them in teeny vases - the cuteness makes my day!

Picking a rose reminds me of my Gramma. She used to love to pick a rose and use it as a rose float. Your rose is such a stunning colour.

@CarolDM I do not grow anything. I used to buy flowers but since they do not last long I stopped doing it. I prefer fake flowers. I am glad you brought your roses inside. How long do they last?

They last several days inside. I change the water daily and if they are buds I can see them open.

Perfect rose that is!!!! Flower arrangements is a passion with me. I had an exhibition a few years ago that also had some dry flower arrangements. I bring in flowers specially those that could be used for arranging.

Rose is my favourite flower. I gave the bouquets of roses to my mom and dad and in laws on their anniversary. Other than that, don't like to pick the flowers from plants.
