Touring the East Coast

My brother and his wife are touring up the east coast in their RV. They started out in Savannah and stopped along the way to see so many interesting places. Last night he called from Canada. They had been to see Niagara Falls and were camping about eight miles away.
They have mostly camped on military bases and shopped at the commissaries. They have really enjoyed seeing all the sights. They left the first of June and hope to be home the last day of July. Last summer they traveled up the west coast to Washington state. Last night he was sitting outside the RV wearing his coat enjoying a temp of 50 degrees. Hard to fathom when we are sweltering in the 90s.

@Janet357 I've always had trees to look out on. When we lived in houses we had trees all around us and here in the complex we have trees scattered around at the front and in a back apartment where we live there's a grove of trees behind us. I can't imagine being without trees. You must live right in the middle of the city.

'tis wonderful they're still able to get out'n 'njoy such. what a treat to go state hoppin', seein' all the sights. i wish 'em a safe journey home. i hear ya, 'tis 97 here today with barely a breeze. then 'gain, 'twas 'nly 60 when i got'p this morn, lol.

Hey! My friend and her whole family are doing the east coast, last update they were almost in Boston. She is from here so that is a long drive.

The two families might run into each other in Boston. My brother and his wife are going there on their way back. My brother served in the Air Force there during Desert Storm. He wants to see how much it's changed since he saw it last.
