Today is the second day I did not switch on 'News'

It used to be a routine with me to switch on the TV early in the morning while I was busy myLotting.
After getting disturbing news about Indian politics where I had my heart and soul I realised I should be like the Ostrich who buries its head in the sand thus keeping away from reality.
But whether what I am doing right or wrong I must admit I had two fairly peaceful mornings Let the politicians do what they want to and if it affects my life I am ready to face it.

@allknowing Our president has been doing a good job in twisting things up very well. And he has too many who support him in the congress. Does, India have free elections on a regular basis?

News can be distressing indeed especially when it takes on news about politics. I am not able to watch news but every morning I am always hook to the morning show since it becomes my clock when its finish then it means I should be ready for work already.

There was an alarm in the news too, At 8 in the morning they had a particular background music and that was time to take my pills But I will take care of that just as I did yesterday and today (lol)

Agreed! It's more of the screaming going on there. I just touch the headlines online and there is that. TV news anchors have disgraced themselves beyond repair.

I like to check out our news and we also get news around the world too online. It is a must for me. I do not check the news out on our Sabbath and on holidays.

@allknowing haha I have stopped watching news while a ago, but recently watch because of the incident in SL, bombing attack. but again stopped watching that too, because these media people try to sell others tears. shame on them

@Sojourn These channels tell us about what the ruling part is up to but they cannot do a thing and therefore why disturb the hornet's nest?

news really isn't worth watching anymore.
people fighting over stuff that doesn't matter..celebrity news that doesn't belong on there..and daily reminders the world is going to hell.
meh..i'd rather watch cartoons at this point.
