Three-Hour Nap

I didn't realize I was so tired when I sat at the computer this morning. My head was soon nodding and it was time for my morning nap. I didn't expect it to be three hours though. I'm feeling on top of the world now and ready to interact with all of you? I was up at 2:20 this morning and in the pool for a vigorous workout. I know I pushed myself extra hard. I almost didn't get my 50 reps on the leg curler machine, but I pushed for that too. The leg press was no problem. I'm going for 70 reps on Monday. Have you had your nap today? Thanks for reading.

I did but for some reason it was a short one. Hope you get up to the 70 reps.

That won't be a problem for the leg press machine, but I don't see it happening for the leg curl machine. That one's tough at 30 pounds. I press 60 on the leg press. If it starts feeling too easy, I'll put it up to 80 pounds and see how that goes. It's easier to press it than it is to curl it.

Whenever my head starts nodding, I go take a nap. Usually, it's more like 1 or 1 1/2 hrs. During the winter, I took a nap every afternoon. I felt so much better, afterwards.

I could really use a nap, I was so busy yesterday, I did a little to much and worn out. Today just sore muscles, but sleepy.

I hate when that happens. Or the phone rings. I heard it but paid no attention. It was a telemarketer so I'm glad I didn't answer it when I checked to see who tried to interrupt my nap when I got up.

It was a hard workout this morning. My knees are feeling it in a good way. I wouldn't like that feeling after I took a nap.

@just4him ya might surprise yerself with those leg workouts, hon. mightn't need surgery once ya get those muscles 'n such built'p 'n workin' proper :) yup, i 'void 'em 't all costs! if'n i'd be that tired, i jest get'p 'n get movin' 'til closer to time fer 'normal' slumber.

@crazyhorseladycx I have almost no cartilage in my knees. It's bone on bone. So the arthritis is terrible at times.

I'm glad you got a good nap in. You must have needed the sleep. I didn't get a nap today. It's hard to grab one these days. I don't want my mom to sleep so much that she stays up late at night or wakes up during the night. My hubby and I have been taking turns with the naps on weekends. He got one today so tomorrow will be my day

No, I am not a napper. I have a question, do you do daily workouts? Your body is supposed to get a chance to rest in between workouts. It could be why you are always feeling sore.

Yes, I work out every day. I swim then go to the fitness center. I spend 10 minutes in the fitness center.

I have trouble napping here. If I do dose off either I get pain or breathing problems wake me or daughters bf comes around and makes a bunch of noise. This smaller house seems to make everything louder. So no I don't seem to get hardly any naps or sleep Glad it is your thing. Don't think I could do all that so early as 2 am (or any time) though. no wonder you was tired

I'm sorry there's always someone around to make a lot of noise preventing you from sleeping. Usually, when I've been awake for five hours, I'm ready for a nap.

Napping either gives you energy or makes you more tired, like me. My naps are shorter or not at all; closing my eyes for a couple of minutes and, that's it. It came handy this afternoon cause, I had a headache.

My internal clock won't let me get up late except on weekends when I purposely go to bed later so I get up a little later.
