I went to Taco Bell and ordered a double tostada. When I got home I found out that it wasn't a double. I called Taco Bell and explained what had happened and he asked me if I wanted to get it today or another day. I said today. So back to Taco Bell I went. I not only received a double tostada but also a coupon for a free taco of my choice. They were so nice about this. I did call the main headquarters and put in a good word for that store.

We have other ones here like Del Taco and Taco Johns but I prefer Taco Bell.

@oahuwriter I haven't tried Wendy's taco salad. I keep forgetting about them. Let me know if it is good if you get to try it.

@velvet53 We don't even have Sonic here in Honolulu and got some Mexican restaurants is all so far we have. Near to where I live there is a Taco Bell. I'd like to try Wendy's taco salad which looks very good. Taco Bell had a great taco salad, when it first came out...went last year and was so disappointed to find the ingredients has changed. Have you every tried Wendy's taco salad...if you did how was it?

@LadyDuck I mentioned Brian as he was the one who talked to me. I don't know the name of the young girl at the window but I was able to pretty well describe her. I'm sure the store will know who I am talking about.

For that very reason, I never go through drive-thru or get my order to go. It never fails that the order gets messed up. That's why I always go inside to order and eat my food. That way, if there is a problem with the order, I can take care of it right then and there. Plus, you get free refills on your sodas when you dine inside.

Normally I do go inside but I had things I had to do so I went thru the drive. As it turned out I ended up with the original order, the replacement and a coupon for a free taco. Not to shabby. There aren't far from me so the gas wasn't much.

@velvet53 At least in this instance the situation worked in your favor. I know many people who go through drive-thrus who live too far away to go back if their order got screwed up. But then again, they really should check the order before pulling out of the parking lot of the restaurant.

That's great they made right with your order and gave you a coupon. Good reviews are sometimes hard to come by for restaurants. I'm glad you put in a good word for them.

They were wonderful. I went thru the drive to pick it up. The young girl that came to the window gve me the sack and then she said "We want to give you something for our mistake". I thought that was so sweet.

I ordered a bean burrito a couple of days ago and they gave me one with chicken. I took it back and they made my bean burrito and gave me melted cheese and French fries for free.

I hate when that happens, ordering something and not getting what you ordered. That is nice they resolved the issue and hopefully Taco Bell was near your home to go back.
