What are you up to on this sunny Saturday?

I'm on my second cup of coffee right now, enjoying the fact that I don't HAVE to do anything today. It's supposed to hit the 90s F here, so I imagine I'll spend some time at the pool.
Breakfast for me was part of a leftover roast beef and Swiss sandwich from yesterday. I'll finish it up before I head to the pool.
I DID start a new "vignette" for that book I'm working on, and I may start another. I'm going to try and treat the book chapters like I treat MyLot: a little bit here, a little but there. Take a break. Rinse and repeat. Sincere thanks to those who served as "editors" yesterday!
What's on your agenda for today? Is it a true Summer day where you live (or a true Winter day for our friends "down under." Most importantly, what did you have for breakfast? Heh.

I had my usual breakfast and lunch which is nothing. Not hard to remember.
It is a beautiful Summer day! I went o the farmer's market and got some local strawberries which were simply delicious. I might go back tomorrow for more.

@TheHorse Some do that! I just had them as they came. Wash and eat is my motto.

My lunch is most times fruit and yogurt, then the food supplements from Neolife and other health stores, to feel even healthier..
We have the market in our village this weekend. I like to go there, as we have so many sales people and I can to talk with them. Many are from different countries and I like to invite them to visit our jw.org site, as there is so much great information in form of articles and videos and people can choose from over 900 languages. Those who want to know more, can go to the bottom of the site and ask for a free Bible study at a time and place they want.

@TheHorse Here it is:
The amount of information contained within the DNA of just one of your cells is staggering. How do cells use this information and how did it get there?

@TheHorse You can be and do all this ***AND*** add Celsius. I haven't asked you not to mention Fahrenheit, only to *add* Celsius. I'm sure you won't be seen as a traitor to your fatherland if you do.
Btw, I think you have to honour the *Office* of the President and not necessarily the *President*, too.

I live in the US, and Donald Trump is my President. I must honor the Office of the President of the United States, be suspicious of non-native Americans (even if the only dude to pull over and offer to help when I had a flat tire on I-680 on a 90 degree F day was Mexican-American), and in general support my Country and its measurement systems. I will express degrees in Fahrenheit, and express measurements in inches, because (bad music in background) "I'm proud to be American..." By the way (doing a calculation quickly in my head), 90 degrees F translates to roughly 33 C.

@MALUSE Yes, it's an important distinction. I respect our system of government, even if our current president happens to be a buffoon. AS for the F/C thing, I enjoy "practicing math" in my head, but it does require a bit of effort. Sometimes I get lazy.

It's 3:31 am Sunday here and I'm already up and ready, I'm preparing to bring out our trash I might miss the truck and those garbage men are usually lazy on Sundays. It's already rainy season here, Summer's long been over. I'm still thinking what to eat, I have bread and coconut jam beside me now lol

@TheHorse got the garbage out and I beat them lol. Its like young coconut meat boiled in red sugar, it has a very sticky consistency, really delicious, I bought this one from the grocery store, it's not homemade. I go nuts with anything that's coconut, coconut milk in the Philippines is used foe cooking, a lot of dishes in every region has a version, really delicious.

@louievill As I read, I'm sipping Tom Kha Gai, which is Thai chicken soup with lemon grass, mushrooms, and coconut milk. Yum!

I'd have to look at a world map to see your latitude, but your pictures remind me of California, so I'm guessing it's comparable. Now that I think about it, I believe I DID check a world map the other day (I think I was researching a plane crash) and noted that you and Vince are about as far South as we are North of the equator. Is Northern Australia hotter and dryer than the South?

@TheHorse Northern Australia is much hotter and dryer than the south. Our latitude is 33.57 degrees south. San Diego, Phoenix and Dallas are all within half a degree of us (but in the north of course). We were taught at school that we have much the same climate as California.

I am chill today, can mow its raining so I will take a drive to the old home place and mop the floors, maybe cut a few boards to get the kitchen floor, top later, done. I have to cut and pull the kitchen cabinets out... anyways I can work inside.
Tony needs to get out of this house, he stayed home yesterday while I dealt with the car and banking. To much inside will cause him depression and sitting will cause pneumonia to get worst. I will name him boss , when I get to the rental.

Have no idea how I found this but I'm glad i did...I love the photo. I am seeing similar to your photo and am happy seeing so many fields full of green...Breakfast for me is usually toast unless my husband cooks a real breakfast and he does that often...I love that i am not the cook in this house...
