We left for Oklahoma Friday evening. My sister-in-law took a day off work, so a friend of the family stayed with dad until we got there.
My laptop would not connect to the internet at their house, so I am computer deprived. No posts, reading and socializing for the whole weekend.
It turns out their router was down. I did not think of that.
We got up very early to come home. The car is unpacked. Hubby is napping. I may join him.
Nothing really exciting this weekend but that is okay.

I would be afraid to go there with tornadoes. I hope the weather was nice for you.

There are not that many tornadoes, but honestly every state has had some. I would be more afraid of hurricanes because they come and do not leave for hours and hours. Earthquakes bother me as well.

@GardenGerty At least with a hurricane there is usually time to evacuate or close up the house securely. I have been through many hurricanes.

that 'twas nice a family friend stayed with yer dad 'til y'all got there. might've been a blessin', havin' no net? i dunno, i missed mine 't first when i got 't disconnected, but 'fter a few weeks 'f withdrawals all 'twas fine. dunno fer certain why i started 't back? oh, 'tis all the pies i've my fingers'n. folks were blowin' my phone'p with this task 'r that....
glad y'all made 't home safely. sounds's though a nap'd be'n order fer yerself, too :)

You know, I survived okay. What amazes me is how many TV sets they have. I have one but do not watch it. Do not watch movies and TV on my computer either.
