Rain, Rain Go Away....Please?

I got a late start to the day today. I didn't sleep well thanks to the hubby for putting the AC on the mode where it kicks on and off constantly to keep the temperature constant. I turned it off about 30 minutes before his alarm went off to get up for work. I walked the dog and got back into bed. I got a couple of hours of deep sleep after he went to work.
It was also raining steadily all night with more bands of rain from the storm/hurricane/storm (Barry) that passed through over the weekend. It looks like we will have rain all day again today.
I hope you are all having better weather today. I'm tired of the rain here. Do you have sunny skies today or rain like me?

jest package those rain clouds'p 'n send 'em here, hon. bone dry 'gain, weeds droopin', waterin' the garden 3x's a day due to the dry heat 'n winds.
the sad thingy 'bout yer situation 'd be the 'season' 's jest started :(

@kareng yes ma'am, that's what i hear. i reckon 's summer heats'p the ocean such 'tis prone to intensifyin'?
've 'nly been'n one hurricane'n that 'twas by oops. a trip down to florida to pick'p some horses fer a fella i worked fer (he bought 'em 't auction 'n rehabbed 'em so'd they'd not wind'p 't the slaughter house). 'twas not a fun time!!

We haven't had rain here in at least a week. It's been pretty nice. We could always use more water though. I live in the high dessert.
