What Are the Odds?

This weekend we went to Charlottetown, PEI. We spent the day touring Green Gables (famous as the home where the story of Anne of Green Gables was based), the gulf coast and finally the city itself. We enjoyed a delicious meal in a restaurant that was open to the street. We noticed a couple at the next table that were also enjoying the ambiance of the restaurant. After our meal, we had an hour or two before we would be entering the theatre to watch the musical "Anne of Green Gables". We wandered down the street and popped into a coffee shop. What are the odds....the same couple entered right behind us and sat at the next table...joking that we were following each other around. When we left the coffee shop, I asked where they were headed next....just in case we would meet again..... They were heading to the same theatre (it's a large theatre), so we quipped maybe we'll see you there. Again.....what are the odds? They were seated immediately in front of us! We shared a laugh and chatted for a few minutes. The show ended....we headed across town and towards our home. Hubby needed a restroom and wanted a coffee. We pulled in to a count shop and the car in beside us disgorged...guess who? The same couple.... We crossed paths for a fourth time in just a few hours. What are the odds. It was an enormous coincidence. We all had a good laugh.
