Good evening friends
Today we finally got a little sun and warmer weather, but the nights are still cold. Helena sleeps and I'm here now.
It's here at 1 am and officially my son's birthday. I have to say that only tonight I understood the date. It never happened to me that I almost forgot about the child's birthday.
Am I a bad mother for that?

You're not a bad mother, you have a lot going on and forgot. As you said, it's never happened before. Show yourself some grace.

@Nevena83 Not at all! Time moves so fast sometimes and it's only natural to forget what day or date it is. Some times I even forget what bloody year it is lol You're not a bad mother for this. I can promise you that. These things happen!

@Nevena83 This can happen easily if our minds are too busy. Making a cake is a very sweet thing for a mother to do.

@VivaLaDani13 Yes, it's incredible to me that my brain was preoccupied with other things.

No. You are a forgetful mother but not a bad one.
I also forget birthdays and names and faces, but I remember memories sweet and warm.
My mother asked me your question a long time ago. My mother was the perfect mother.
Kiss your son. He will easily forgive you.

No, you are a good Mom. We all can have lapses of memory about things.

Thanks for the nice words. I made him a cake, but for a present he will have to wait.
