We had given up growing vegetables but got interested once again. I bought seeds online and some have shown up. While the lady finger and long beans have started yielding the others - brinjal, radish, cucumber, bitter gourd, bottle gourd and , tomato will take time to flower. We have always had gherkins and they too have started yielding.

That is nice to have an extra lot to plant veggies like that and you feel a bit happy and accomplished when you harvest some of its produce. You feel a lot safer knowing that your plant is clean of the pesticides they put on those commercial produce.

@allknowing I guess you should, unless there is some kind of right time for planting certain veggies over others. It is good if you can harvest your own food. You just invest on time and energy in caring for them to thrive healthy.

I started to pick up tomatoes two days ago, I have plenty this year. I grow my plants from seeds I removed from the tomatoes I bought in winter at the supermarket.
