my dog is so clingy

my dog, a japanese spitz is so.clingy to us. whenever my husband arrives, he will.dash to him and drop his body into the floor and offer his belly.
he is our shadow as.well. he follows wherever we go.
he is jealous of my husband's dog in his office.
he is jealous of us too. he does not.like to.see us hug each other. he just wants our whole attention on him
dogs are really funny

Our dog is like that too. He tries to get our attention most of the times. Sometimes I have long phone conversations with a friend, and our dog always tries to get my attention, he doesn't like long phone calls

@Janet357 He is a Golden Retriever. He is almost 10 years old.

@Janet357 Yeah remembered my pet dog when I was young. He would wait on the stairs of our house while I am in school and when he sees me coming he would run towards me to greet me. It was really kind of relieving to feel that there someone waiting for you when you come home and would be greeted like you are special being. Then he's the first one to wake me up early in the morning.
