My Liver Has Been Invaded

My liver has been invaded and it doesn't like it. They finally decided what to do with the diseased part of my liver. They burned out the part that is making me miserable. I use the word say because I am not out of the woods yet.
They tell me in a day or so I will be sort of back to normal, as far as the liver is concerned. It seems there is another little problem rearing it's ugly little head.
The good news is they believe that all of the cancer is gone. However they have spotted another little problem with the digestive system. It's called gastroparesis. As soon as I understand what it is I will do a post about it.
Meanwhile I am on a very restricted, liquid to mushy diet. I am so glad I have a blender.
Hope everyone out there is enjoying their steaks and such. Have a wonderful day, I know mine will be good. I am on my way to research gastroparesis.

@crazyhorseladycx So far I haven't had too many problems with the diet but hold on I may find it too restricting before long. But, I will still stick with it. It had to be better that the pain.

That;s the spirit. No use moping on the situation. Cardinal rule is to know the enemy and plan for a battle strategy.
Always, there is a solution. Find it and you'll be all right.
In the mean time, prayers for you from this mylotter.

I don't remember reading that you had cancer but I've not been back around until recently. I realized when I said I would looking for tour post that I was missing you up with another coffee friend in here. So was the cancer in the liver and it's that and the mushy diet the reason to weren't doing well waking around? That Allie sounds like a good reason to me
I only had knee surgery and I don't like walking around much either and, I'm not even sick. I feel lazy but my muscles have to relearn how to hold my body weight up.
I hope things will continue to improve for you soon.

@HazySue I'm not miserable but it seems slow and that may be because otherwise I'm ready to be moving and it's not totally healed just yet. I'm only at six weeks I think.

They say that the liver is the one part of the body that receives and cleans our body with toxins that is why they are the most abused part of the body and it doesn't complain like the heart is when problems happen the heart warns us although a bit late. But the liver does his job silently cleaning and ridding our bodies with toxins that could be harmful to us. That is why when it starts to complain already it is either way too late already.

The first thought that came to my mind as I read this is thank goodness you are experiencing this now.
And I do not mean for that to sound as awkward as it may, but the diagnostics and the treatments that our medical professionals can provide us with is literally life-saving.
I pray that you can continue on a healthy course as it is apparent that your primary care giver is very clever and up to date with the latest treatments and has tailored them for you.
I hope and I pray that you will continue on the right course, I know that this must be so difficult on you.

I understand what you are saying. I keep adding ailments to my list. I wonder if I am being testing in some way. I will follow directions to the letter and get this managed the way I have been trying to manage everything else. Meanwhile I am keeping my spirits up and believing that I will be ok in the end.

It isn't pleasant. There is pain, nausea, and vomiting involved. I am on an extremely rigid diet now, liquids and food that is baby food consistency, that is starting to make me a bit more comfortable. Hopefully, all will turn out good in the end.

Despite your state of health, sometimes you have a black humor within your words that ironically leads you to make this process lighter, and that's fine, each of us reacts at our own pace, I know why I am the same as you. On the one hand all this is a process, you must be focused Susan, on how you are evolving to get out of here, and you are doing well, the first step is the optimism that everything will be fine and that despite your realities you have the I encourage you to deal with it. You are very brave I will not tell you a "how much I am sorry" but, I will tell you that I congratulate you rather for each performance and achievement about your illness. If there are more problems then you will solve it, because in you nothing is small or insufficient, I know that you are a person capable of giving 1000 percent of yourself to get up. I trust your strength.

Wow, I know you are right. No one else has seen it quite so clearly. I do have to keep a positive thought process going. It is better for me to think "What can I do?" "What do I need to do?". If I stopped thinking that way I would have left the earth a long time ago. Thank you for understanding me.

There is a good news. And let's focus on that and not on the ugly part. Stay relaxed. That too will be taken care of. Sending prayers for you.
