I was thinking about what to have at tea time and suddenly I just craved for a couple of French toasts.
I´m sure they are not so full of calores if you don´t add too much sugar. And I don´t like a lot of sugar anyway.
That and a cup of coffee should help me reach dinner time. I just want to have a little something for dinner, maybe a salad.
What are you having for dinner?

@LadyDuck I only have watermelon when Tania visits in summer and she brings a slice. Here watermelons are sold whole so it is too much for me.

French toast is just awesome for anytime craving.
It's Friday early morning here. I am having my morning tea. Last night I had tomato soup and macroni salad for dinner.

French toast (or 'Eggy Bread', as I have always known it) is a savoury thing here. I add salt and pepper to the beaten egg and often eat it with bacon or baked beans. Never with syrup or jam, though I've heard one or two this side of the pond do that.

I have it with sugar on top. I have never done it as a salty bread but I could try it. Sounds interesting.
