Long drive..early morning..

It's 5:35 AM. I am up and ready to go out. And I am driving more than 40 kms.. My daughters and their gang of friends( they are here for a sleep over) were awake whole night and just now I have asked them to get some sleep. So I am sure they will be sleeping till noon. I am driving my 60 years old friend to her farm house on outskirts of city. We planned to start early to beat the traffic and be back by noon. Taking my gardener and his wife with lots of seeds and few saplings for trees. We want our gardener to see the place. I will take him every now and then there to do the needful. There is an in house caretaker with his family there on farm house who can take care of basic things like watering the plants and cleaning up the place. So we will hurry up. We want to be in time and be back by the time these girls get up. I have asked my downstairs neighbor, mother of one of these girls to be in charge till we come back. Handed over keys to her. I am taking my husband's big 7 seater car. That should be enough to accommodate us with all plants and other stuff. Taking few home made delicacies to have a breakfast picnic there. Looking to a great morning there with all field work and dirting our hands. If I get good mobile data there, I would keep mylotting and posting in between. Mostly that might not be the case. The area has poor signal. So feeling thrilled for a long drive on empty roads. Catch you later! Enjoy mylotting!

Oh it is a tough drive waking up so early. So would you take a break in between as well, on some roadside eatery?

@Spontaneo I drank tea before starting from home. We had coffee there with our picnic breakfast.

It was quite enjoyable. Empty roads are a treat to drive. I drove non stop to reach there in just 50 minutes. While coming back we faced traffic and it took close to two hours.

I was tired while driving back as we met traffic on way back. But the fresh fruits and vegetables that I bought from there were worth all the effort.

Early morning weather is always pleasant one. Slow cool winds and pollution free sky. All is interesting one. It is not more less than a picnic. It is of my choice. In my student life I had scooter and I too like long driving.

It was fun driving then on empty roads. While coming back we got traffic but not as much as we get on weekdays. So it was manageable.

@arunima25 Yes driving on empty roads are funny but risky. Because most of time we are careless on empty roads.

@anil02 I am never careless while driving. I am too scared of accidents. I am a safe driver.
