Maya Mirota and Marta Malek are two lucky girls who were found after a six day period when they were reported missing from their camping group in the Algonquin Park in the Ontario province in Canada.
Scott Gannon who is one of the police officers with the Ontario Provincial Police Canine Unit with the assistance of his fellow officers and his pet dog Zoe were able to locate the two young girls safe and sound.
Zoe was able to use her keen sense of smell to pick up the trail where th two young girls were missing.
Gannon was able to locate the missing girls by calling out their names. They replied by using a whistle to assist the police find them safe and sound despite the fact that they had insect bites and suffered from dehydration.
The two teens are in good spirits and in good physical condition, they are grateful that Zoe and the police rescued them.
The feeling from the police officers was mutual since this story came to a happy end.
How did the two teens get lost is still under investigation. You decide who gets the blame for this minor lost adventure of the two young teens who are lucky to be alive.

That is true since anytime a child is missing for a long time past at least one day, the odds of finding the missing children alive are usually slim.
