The Horse takes culinary crime to a new level

When I was a child on the South Side of Chicago, there was a dude whose name was...sacred. That name was Jeff Fort. I knew that he was leader of a street gang called the Blackstone Rangers, and I knew that he was a dude not to be messed with.
I lived on Blackstone, but in the gentrified area of Hyde Park, near the University of Chicago. I knew people who knew Jeff Fort, but I did not dare claim to know him, no matter how "cool" that might have made me.
When I decided to establish my "posse" of "Gardening Gangsters," here in California, I felt that I need to publicize. So I created the sign attached. I stuck it in the soil a Kaiser the other day, in hopes that others would water the seeds I planted there.
I enjoy the illegal planting I do out there, but I don't have the time to water there every other day. My hope is that I can enlist the support of others (we all have a dark side don't we?) in this non-violent gangsta activity. Do you think I have a chance?
Now you know where my dark (dark green) side comes from. Happy planting!

You can murder the dry snow pea plants from last year and bury them. You can get away with crime and make compost on the side. The watering depends on how near is the hose. People are lazy.

@TheHorse The Mystery of the Water Bottle. Will it be a murder story?

@wolfgirl569 We'll see. I work near there every day this week. Maybe I'll stop by Tuesday or Wednesday and see if there's any evidence of "activity."

I used permanent marker, but didn't put anything over the sign. We haven't had rain here in quite awhile. Hopefully any possible posse members will have gotten hooked by the next time it rains.
I am proud of my design, though. I used four popsicle sticks and a 59 cent dowel rod, all glued together by high quality guitar glue.

You are quite devious in some respects. So did anyone start watering those plants out of pity?
