Diary 17th To 22nd July 2019

The 17th to 19th Of July were very quiet days when I stayed in to save money, and just did the bare minimum of shopping as well as preparing for the busier weekend days to follow. I had a coach booked for manchester, for Saturday and a return ticket for Sunday. I originally planned to stay in Manchester through to today (22nd July) but the welfare people hit me with a mandatory appointment to see them Monday morning, and only moved it to Tuesday after I had bought the ticket. I had no option but to still cut my journey short. Saturday's trip to Mamchester went well, and though cloudy it stayed dry throughout. I spent a few hours getting fresh pub sign photos in the city centre and then headed to Stockport by bus aiming to get more pub sign photos there before getting some booze from the shops and going on to the party I was invited to (a BBQ to celebrate the 50th anniversary of tyhe 1st Moon landing). I only captured a few photos when a friend (not one invited to the party) met me by sheer chance so we went for a few beers moving my activity from the outside to the inside of the pubs. I got the beers for the party and went tot he lovely BBQ in a friend's garden, and they kindly let me stay with them Saturday night. On Sunday, another friend had arranged to meet me to have tea with me at their house, and they collected me from the party house. My original plan was to stay with this friend overnight but as I had my appointment mess up my bus arrangements, he kindly drove me home late in the evening and I spent the remains of the night catching up on correspiondence and today, updating my work-search files ready for the welfare hearing tomorrow.
