Blue Dragonfly and White Waterlily (lotus)

A couple weeks ago I got this image and quite a bit of Turtles and some frogs too in the pond at the local cemetery.
I have been working on trying to get good dragonfly photos..
I have gotten a couple that were good. But I really wanted to photograph the blue ones as they are so pretty. And I finally found a bunch of them at this pond.
In this case I was actually starting to take a picture of the Lotus flower and the Dragonfly came and landed perfectly in my frame. So I got very lucky.
I have seen others take even closer photos of dragonflies.. I do not know how they do it... lol
This has been my latest photo accepted to shutterstock.. I am sure hoping it sells.

'tis a beautiful shot 'n ya should be proud. the dragonflies here're prone to perchin' out'n the bright sun, thus washin' out their brilliant colors. bonus ya got such'n a white lotus flower! dunno why, but my water lilies 've not bloomed this year...

@minx267 yer welcome :) i fear mine'd not bloom this year. nary a clue's to why?? perhaps the grasshoppers ate the buds? i dunno, they've cleared out purty much e'erythin' else, lol.

I know! Tell me about it! It is tough.. I was lucky when trying to get them on this occasion as they would fly up and then often land back in the same spot.. so I just kept focused on the same spot and waited for them to land again!
