Ace getting a haircut

After falling into an exhausted slumber last night, I got up at Pee O'Clock and took Ace for a walk. It was a cool, dry morning. I could almost imagine I'd slept through August and awakened in September.
Ace is now at the groomers. They are supposed to have him ready to pick up by 11:30. Since I had to drop him off before 8 a.m., I decided to have breakfast out.
There is a new store in the small town where the groomer is and I was going to try it out. Evidently, the restaurant does not serve breakfast. I didn't look like it was open at all. I wouldn't be surprised if it closed already. The location it is in has seen at least 5 restaurants come and go over the years since we've lived nearby.
I wound up having breakfast at Hardee's, a fast-food place that got its start right here in North Carolina. When it comes to eat-in breakfast, Hardee's does a good job for a fast-food place.
I'm still at Hardee's, sipping on my iced tea and myLotting while I wait for the banks to open. I sold several books to a lady who wanted my whole collection autogrpahed and she paid with a check. Hence, the trip to the bank.

I hope you have a lovely day! Breakfast at Hardees sounds good, I have only had their burgers and fries-delicious. =)

For a time, I quit going to Hardee's. They've had some major management shakeups within the last few years and the quality of the food and service had improved markedly. I now prefer them for breakfast and enjoy their other meals as well.

@DWDavis Well that's good! =) I love their food but don't get it often since their a bit pricey.

@DWDavis They are. I havent looked at the results yet. Hoping the A1C is better this time. I dont want to be diabetic so have changed my eating a lot.

I always enjoy eating breakfast out. Somehow it always tastes so much better than when you make it at home.
Hope you're accompanied by an armed guard when you bring that money to the bank

I would say typical. I have had breakfast at Hardees a couple of times. I love their cinnamon raisin biscuits. Yesterday, and last night the air did have a very September feel.
