I saw this on Facebook and thought it was important enough to re-post...especially the tick bite picture. For your own safety and your children's, please take a minute to look at the various bites and know the difference among the various insects. Ticks are carrying more and more dangerous diseases. Thank you. Photo Credit: Facebook

I think it was important to share as well. Have you ever been bitten by any of these?

I take victim E and those pesky mosquitoes don't bite me at all. They land on me but don't bit.

I don't get out too often but thank you for the information. I always get upset if I see too many buggies around.

Thank you for sharing the graphic. I am monitoring the site of a horsefly bite and several yellow jacket stings currently. The horsefly bite site seems to be healing nicely. All but one of the yellow jacket stings are mostly resolved as well. That last one might warrant a trip to the doc just to rule out any problems.

@LindaOHio It looks much better. I'm hoping the doctor visit has been avoided.

@LindaOHio They would be dug in and he would light a match blow it out and touch it and the tick would back out. It was so common it didn't seem to be a bother.
