Double shock

I am not really up to posting much at the moment but a friend of mine contacted to let me know that @goaskalice had passed away. I did not know him personally but I do know that he was a very popular and fair guy who helped people and was a very diligent and fair admin of this site.
I pass on my condolences to his loved ones and I feel your pain to lose someone so special and dear to you! Time is a great healer and you will have many happy memories of such a kind and fun guy!
Unfortunately I am dealing with my own loss at the moment and I am in bits. Sadly my brother collapsed on Friday and although I was able to resuscitate him he went on to have a further cardiac arrest. He was in intensive care over the weekend but it became clear that he was only being kept alive by the ventilator and drugs they were given him.
Following a discussion we agreed that they should harvest his organs as he had requested. My brother passed away at 14:45 on Monday. I am not up to going into details about what happened as it was pretty horrific.
My prayers and thoughts are with @goaskalice's loved ones, my brother and his family and my extended family.

Thank you I am back now I came back yesterday to the most warmest of welcomes. I have missed all my on line friends here. I should not have stayed away for so long! Great to be back !

@LadyDuck Yes she came back on Monday although she shut her finger in a door and it was badly cut. I have been cleaning the wound and dressing it for her. It is looking a bit better now but I am sure it is going to be very sore for at least another week! I am glad she is home and she is pleased to be back!

My brother was only 63 which is quite shocking Alfredo. It is a most bizarre thing to have happened although on reflection I wonder if he knew it was going to happen by some of the things he said. Probably not in the way it happened but by what he had been doing in the weeks before he went.
