It's restaurant week here in NYC

It's restaurant week here in NYC. You can do lunch (2 courses for $26) or dinner (3 courses for $42), tax and tip not included. This is only Monday - Friday. Some places may do Sunday as well. Saturday is not eligible, which sucks because that's when hubby and I always go out to eat.
We have not gone anywhere yet. I definitely want to try at least one restaurant. Will have to check participating restaurants and their restaurant week menus and pick a place. Restaurant week here ends August 16th.
Is there restaurant week where you live?

They probably have something like that in Cleveland...Not out here.

Oh. That sucks. Sometimes I wonder why restaurant week is not available everywhere.

@lovebuglena Cleveland is a major city; our city is not. We are more or less out in the "suburbs" even though Cleveland is an hour away.

@LindaOHio Oh. That makes sense. I live in Staten Island. Maybe only one restaurant, if any, participates in restauarant week. There is a small number in Brooklyn but most are in Manhattan. Not sure about the Bronx or Queens.

You can always visit NYC if you don't live too far away from it.

@NJChicaa That's not bad at all. I live in Staten Island, which is NYC, but to get to Manhattan will take me at least that long.
