My neighbor has left us. / myLot

I came home today to find one of my neighbors care givers vehicle parked out front. When I got inside and was sitting at my desk I saw her and my neighbors friend outside talking. The man was holding a suit and some papers. When he left I talked to the care giver and she confirmed that my neighbor had left us. He was a good neighbor to me. We had many talks about his life and the past. He used to tease me because we both had Cherokee in us. I will miss him. May his wonderful soul rest in peace.

I sometimes feel bad that neighbors moved to another place. Some of my good neighbors had gone away. Most of them are my childhood friends.

There was nothing we could do. When I met him a year ago I knew he was in bad shape. He has been to the hospital many times since I met him.He lost a lot of weight and was disoriented a lot. I will miss him.

Thanks Sanna. He went to the hospital almost 2 weeks ago with heat problems. I just pray that he didn't suffer.

Thanks Lenore. He could be a pain in the you know what but he always treated me good. I will miss the days of him sharing his life and family. We spent many hours sharing history.

@sallypup I could feel his love for his ancestors and what they passed on. I will never forget the night that he showed me pictures of his ancestors. I found him sitting in his car and he had been there for awhile. I helped. ed him to his apartment and that is when everything started. I have to laugh about how he kept saying ovr the months that I had native American in my blood.
