We had cockles for lunch

We boil the cockles remove the flesh and prepare a dry dish. There is a nice recipe for making this dry dish. The liquid is used to make soup. It is best to buy cockles in the rainy weather as the flesh is free some sand. We get different types of cockles. What you see in the image are empty shells after removing the flesh

We wash the cockles in salty water several times, fry in a pan with garlic and olive oil, add parsley, season spaghetti with them.

I like seafood but I've never had cockles. I'm not really fond of shell fish, I prefer either salmon or tuna or sardines.
