I think we need a Pangolin

I was trying to calm my nerves this morning from having to call the electric company to extend our bill till I get paid again. So I was playing on pogo a match game for matching animal tiles like Mahjong when it popped up with a cute animal called a Pangolin . Had never heard of it so had to go search. Come to find out it is what we used to call an anteater and I thought that is exactly what we need. still haven't been able to get rid of these trillions of tiny ants here and have tried everything . Lily, daughters cat has tried eating them all but eventually gave up the project. I knew she could never eat all these things. In fact we might need 2 anteaters/pangolins Don't think I could stand touching them though . yuck. would prefer touching the pygmy goats in the photo. hope the link loads.

It might take that to get rid of your ants. Try salt or ground cloves. Someone told me ground cloves many years ago and I found they will avoid it like the plague. I also watched what happened when I poured the cloves right on the ant. It killed it. It's poison to ants. I know salt also helps from the various conversations I've seen here.

@bunnybon7 I'm sure it's not. It didn't bother my son's cat.

If you find the ant bed or ant hill outside, pour cornmeal on it.

Get one, at least it is a useful animal. I agree that the pygmy goats are nicer.

@bunnybon7 Goats are so cute, I would love to have a couple, so they would take care to "mow the lawn".

i saw a documentary'n these lil darlin's. seems they're poached quite oft 'n many perish due to humans :( i need'n anteater here, though these're cuter, jest the more common kind'd do. not tiny ants causin' troubles, but big'uns who keep shortin' out my water switch. @bunnybon7 Glad she gave up and realized she cannot eat them all. They are cute in the picture. Thanks for sharing them with us and I hope all goes well with the electric company.

Are you in a house or an apartment? Do you know where the ants come in? You can sprinkle cinnamon, or corn starch across their path. Be careful with poisons as it is bad for your breathing.

I noticed ant hills on my lawn in my back garden. I am keen to get rid of them. The goats in your photo look really cute. I don't know much about the pangolin.
