Do You Hear This Any More ~ TGIF

I remember back in the day, I heard a lot of friends saying TGIF every Friday: Thank Goodness It is Friday. Not so much any more.
I know there is a good restaurant called TGI Friday's. I think it is still around.
Maybe there are other sayings that have replaced this one. I am probably behind on what is cool to say these days.
Nevertheless, Friday is usually a happy day for most. Everybody getting ready for the weekend. Lately it seems to be just another day for me.
Do you hear this saying often? Any weekend plans?

I am retired so I don't hear it anymore. No more Friday happy dance for me.

Occasionally I still hear TGIF but mostly it was popular in our work place. Since I don't work anymore TGIF is just the day before the weekend but I always feel extra excited when Fridays roll around.
By the way, I love to eat at TGI Fridays!

I haven't heard this saying in quite awhile. I guess Friday's don't really mean much anymore. It used to be "Thank Goodness It's Friday!" It's the end of the work week, it's the end of the school week etc etc. Now it's just another day really.
I have no weekend plans. My best friend is up in the mountains (I love her but grrr I envy her a bit right now) and the bf is in another State working..
So I guess I'll watch t.v., read, and be on mylot.
I will be going to dine with my family (as per usual) today though.

I love that saying, it reminds me of days gone by.
I don't hear it so much anymore as I do read it.
And Fridays have changed their meaning for me as well, I have Fridays off, but am now working on Saturdays. Its not terrible because the pace is much slower and relaxed, and I'm all about slower and relaxed.

@CarolDM Anyone over about the age of 25 has to roll with the times don't we? But I would rather the age I am now then to go back and start all over again, there IS something to be said about experience, even in life.
Thanks, I will go and shower and pretty myself up in a little while so that when he gets home from work we can relax together before going out.
I still have a load of wash in the dryer that I am waiting on to dry so that I can fold it and put it away.

I don't work anymore; so I don't hear it. Yes, TGI Friday's is still around. No weekend plans. We had company yesterday; and my husband's godson/2nd cousin has gone back to Tennessee.
