It's A Coffee Kind of Day

Happy Tuesday Everyone! a cloudy day here with thunderstorms in the forecast.
Our little dog Mush won't be happy if it starts to thunder. Poor puppy
With the change in weather my knees are really acting up today. I took some ibuprofen and rubbed some Aspercreme on them with the hopes that it will help ease some of the pain. Definitely won't be doing much today and absolutely won't be going up and down the stairs.
I've already finished my 2nd cup of coffee and am thinking of a 3rd.
I feel asleep very fast last night but woke up at 2am and couldn't fall back asleep until 4am. If I didn't have to come downstairs to use the computer I probably would have joined the night owls here on myLot.
I'm tired today but not as tired as I thought I would be with the interruption of sleep.
It's crockpot cooking for tonights dinner.
We're having a pork tenderloin cooked in marinara sauce with fresh green beans. It's a family recipe and it's pretty much similar to a steak pizziola except pork instead of beef.
That's my days plans so far....nothing exciting

Well, I'm hanging around here a bit while my employees are washing windows at our local Dairy Queen. Then we're driving to do a larger job out North of town. I probably won't be mylotting there. I may have to help out otherwise I should visit with the homeowners unless they're busy elsewhere. If that happens I might be back.
Once back home again I'll have to get a deposit ready for the bank, wash towels, buy bleach for a job tomorrow and sometime in there have my coffee. I normally have at least one chip first thing but today I went to work out and haven't had time since. Yet.
Have you ever tried biofreeze? They make a roll in. It was wonderful for my thumb joints, but I don't know how it would be on knees.

No, I never tried Biofreeze but I certainly would give it a try.

@Marilynda1225 well the knee that was replaced in 2017 is great. I feel a twinge
from time to time but nothing like what it was like before. The newest replacement seems like I go backwards about as much as it goes forward but maybe it's just the different muscles getting stronger.
I was checking my bend on Sunday to see if I could use my left leg to go down a step and the quad near my newest knee which is the right side went into cramping mode. Today I went down a step left foot first without thinking and did so without falling. Later I bent my leg while standing and it seems like I can go deeper in the bend now so maybe that muscle is closer to being fully healed. I will test it out a bit later to make sure.
Do you plan on getting yours replaced one day or are you hoping you can put up with the pain? Even if either knee hurts it's nothing like it used to be and my knees are no longer a meter for storms anymore.
We had the clouds yesterday and rain was expected during the night but I don't think we got any. It did sprinkle a little before work yesterday.

Nothing exciting really. I made the Island Kielbasa that Kristen had written about before. I found it to be very sweet. Thank God, I didn't put as much brown sugar in as it called for. It was decent, but now I have a lot of it left.

Good morning! I hope your knees feel better and hopefully, you can take a nap later on,
Doodles spent the entire night on the foot of the bed with us. A first! The thunder woke us both up, but stopped. I was able to take him out for a walk before heading to the gym.
Friends of ours and I postponed a dinner on her deck this evening thanks to the rain, which we desperately need.

My Tuesday has come to end and it was quite productive. I loved the fact that I could be here a few times. So I had some free time at hand. I kept very little to do for chores.
