Special Day Today: Our 38th Anniversary

Today or this evening to be exact marks our 38th wedding anniversary. It's been a long road and not all roses. But that is life. We have learned to work through problems together and to support each other throughout this life.
We have raised three beautiful daughters. We now have four grandchildren, two boys, and two girls and two step-grandchildren, 2 additional boys. Our family is complete, although we would welcome more little ones into the fold. Babies are blessings from God.
I'm looking forward to the next ten years and new journeys. My husband will be retiring at the end of January if all goes as planned and we both want to do a bit of traveling. I"m ready for that.
To top it all off, my husband even remembered the big day this morning after waking up. This is a good start to the day since he usually is the one to forget. One year we both forgot and didn't realize it until the following week. That was pretty funny.

Congrats. Dont feel bad me and hubby both forgot one year too. We did not remember until the next year

congrats to ya both! yes ma'am, marriage 's work. y'ave gotta be willin' to pick 'p slack when the others down 'n work out'cher troubles. helps if'n ya make good choices'n yer partner from the start. many jest grow 'part o'er the years, with no desire to rekindle what they'd years prior.
the hubs celebrates the day we met 's our anniversary. most oft fergets the actual month/day/year he roped me 'nto marriage.

Congratulations and wishing you many more years of love. One of my favorite singers sang a love some called the Anniversary Waltz and even though ti was for couples during WW II I don't think it has aged at all.

Wow congratulations! 38 years are easily said, but to fulfill them requires a whole art. Every day live with love and respect and not decline over the years, only true love survives so much.
