We Got It

I have been waiting for a week for the noise but I was sure I it was going to pass right by me again, each day going outside to get a dust bath. Oh wait! Add humidity and what ya got is a mud bath. Hey? Arent those good for the skin 
For hours I could hear the rumble of thunder as I got into bed around midnight it was closer. I tried not to stay up to late, trying to get my hours back on schedule, so closed my novel and turned over and fell right off to sleep.
Around 2 am the strange noise woke me, it was raining. I smiled, said a "thank you" to God and went back to sleep.
This morning when I went out to feed the cat the air was so light, the hot dry spell has passed, for today.

I love Eminem! I never could bring myself to do a mud bath, if I ever did one, it would be out in my yard because I have a hang up about paying for something can get for free. I always wonder who decided that they were good for the skin and how did they figure that out? I mean, on a rainy day they fell in a big mud puddle and after their shower said Wow! I look great!
